“Quick, Molly. We need to go – right now!”
Pearl grabbed Molly’s hand and the pair of them swam swiftly away, surging through the water at top speed. BOOM! An explosion sounded behind the mermaids and the water became clouded with smoke.
Molly glanced back and could see boiling water shooting out of the top of the volcano spraying horribly close to them. The temperature was rising in the water. They would be scalded if they didn’t get safely away in time!
